University staff are ready to assist in arranging interviews with experts on a wide variety of subjects. We provide broadcast media with a dedicated state-of-the-art video-over-IP interview room at a minimal charge. And we welcome use of our state-of-the-art studio by marketing, branding, and public relations experts and other business or community leaders hoping to get their message out – and get it out quickly.

Known on campus as the Digital Communication Hub, Loyola’s video and audio transmission facility is located conveniently in the J. Michael Early Studio of the university’s award-winning School of Communication and Design, on the fourth floor of the Communications/Music Complex on Loyola’s main campus.
Video and audio transmission services are provided free of charge to all accredited media when interviewing University experts, professors, faculty, staff, and students. Fees apply when using the facility for live shots, promotional events, or non-Loyola interviews. Rates are listed in the link above, please contact the School of Communication & Design for an official quote using the request form. All booking requests are subject to the School's approval.

Why use Loyola?
Our faculty experts are well-versed in a variety of topics and can provide analysis on developing news and research, participate in live expert interviews, and respond to Q & A with anchors as news is unfolding — all while helping you to get your work done quickly and efficiently while saving time and expenses.
Our video transmission facility can be used to distribute live or pre-recorded television interviews, press conferences, or events to satellite receive sites using domestic or international satellites. For those not connected to LTN Global service, LTN can coordinate transmission to satellite uplink sites using domestic or international satellites.
We have top-of-the-line HD television cameras and equipment, studio lighting, and a highly trained crew equipped to assist with studio production.
Radio/Audio Facilities
The Loyola School of Communication and Design also has broadcast quality audio transmission capability using a Comrex BRIC-Link II unit. The Comrex unit is located in an audio isolation booth with mixer and four Heil PR 40 microphones.
