Loyola Art alumna Carlie Trosclair, BFA '08, is one of several St. Louis-based artists featured in an article in the latest issue of Art in America, a widely-read international contemporary art magazine. A New Orleans native, Trosclair graduated cum laude from Loyola's Art program and earned an MFA degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. Since then the Gateway City has remained her home base and the artist frequently draws on it for her work, including Phantom Rehab, a 2017 specialized installation in an abandoned house. A photograph of that work appears in Art in America's February 2018 article "Atlas St. Louis."
