Anthony Pursell ’96 (music education), M.A. ’01, Ph.D., was featured in the March issue of The Instrumentalist, a prestigious publication for music educators nationwide. Pursell is the band director at Tarleton State University in Texas. Pursell, who is also a contributing editor for The Instrumentalist, discussed the challenges of attracting audiences to the university’s concert hall.
