Madeleine Flynn '10 (aka New Orleans singer Maddie Ruthless) hosts a monthly ska and reggae night at the Lower Garden District bar the Saint, and last year, she released a 7-song EP, Hold The Phone, with local ska-punkers Fatter than Albert as her backing band. Her current band was a top 10 finalist in a fan-voting competition to perform at the London International Ska Festival, a prestigious annual revival show that hosts pioneers of the sound alongside up-and-comers.
