‘Stolen in Plain Sight’ follows Melissa, a woman who escapes her abusive husband by heading to a small Louisiana town. She “hides with her son in the family chalet that has been uninhabited for years. But then one day in the park, her son disappears,” according to IMDB. Mahoney noted she was thankful to be asked to be a part of ‘Stolen in Plain Sight’s’ girl power cast.

Mahoney plays Kaylene, a friendly salesgirl in a local shop. “The character is different for me, challenging, with lots of quick dialogue and shifts throughout,” she said. “It was so much fun to tackle something vastly different.”
